So, yesterday's Northwest Missouri Senior Bowlers Tour event started bad, spare shooting was bad, but striking was good, and I clawed my way up the leaderboard to qualify. Today started really good, and despite missing my first 10 Pin, I made a tweak and converted 8 of the last 8 I left. I was inside the cash line after ever game but 1, the last one. A split in the first and a chop in the 3rd started the last game poorly, and a couple rip 10's cost me, and a 201 dropped me all the way to 22nd, 20 pins short of the last cash spot.
I used the Brunswick Bowling Strategy again today for the first 6 games. After the two early opens the last game, I switched to the Infinity Quest Pearl which looked great. Thanks as always to Brunswick, Vise Inserts, friends, family, and most of all my wife. And thanks to Mike Peck and Alan K. Shovan for riding down and lodging with me.
While it wasn't the ending I wanted, I was happy to see me grind thru spare struggles and figure some stuff out. More practice to come before the Nebraska Masters in a few weeks.
