EJ Adventures WE ARE A SMALL GRASSROOTS ORGANIZED COMMUNITY WHO WANT TO SHARE OUR LOVE OF THE OUTDOORS THROUGH TRAIL RUNNING EVENTS IN KENTUCKY.

We enjoy hosting trail running events to support our public lands of Kentucky 💚

• Carter Caves Half Marathon
• One more race course TBD Well, now that we have a daughter of our own, we want to share our love of the outdoors with her as well! In a state where only 11.8% of our land is open to the public, we want to conserve these sacred grounds we like to call our "cathedrals." Our trail running events focus on utilizing these public lands. We work together with our officials in organizing these events to leave as little impact as possible on our State Parks and National Forests. After each event we want to give back to these natural lands by improving the landscape and trail systems. Kentucky has some absolutely incredible natural landmarks and we want to share these stunning places with others through our events. Our courses are generally quite rugged and challenging taking you off the beaten path where no cars go. In return each participant will be treated to magnificent vistas, pristine waterways, gorgeous vegetation, and a unique experience for each person! We hope to bring awareness to others how important our beautiful public lands are and hope to help conserve and preserve them for our daughters generation and many more generations to come!

Race recap, photos, and results from the 2022 Carter Caves Half Marathon is now on our website.

Need to let everyone know EJ Adventures will be taking a break from hosting events moving forward at this time.

Trying to balance family life and hosting events became too much for us. We are actually expecting our first son later this fall and are excited for this new chapter in life.

Thank you to all of you who have supported us in our small yet very passionate grassroots endeavor for our Kentucky State Parks. Hope you are able to find a little bit of peace and beauty while out on those Kentucky trails.

Thanks to the members of the Kentucky State Parks Division of Recreation, trail maintenance crews and volunteers there is now a stunning new staircase built at Shangra La Arch.

Was scouting the Carter Caves Half Marathon course yesterday and it is currently blooming alive and displaying some of Kentucky’s finest it has to offer (with a few trees still down).

Excited to share this and some other new features with some of you later this month. Very grateful for our Kentucky State Parks!
