“A couple years ago, I worked with FitLife Nutrition and Tessa, and it helped. I had accountability, someone to talk to, and a plan. But the truth is, I wasn’t ready yet.
This time is different.
I’m actually ready for the journey — not just to “go on a diet,” but to learn how to lose it like I live it, as Tessa says.
That’s probably my biggest advice to anyone thinking about nutrition coaching: find a reason that goes deeper than looking better in a swimsuit. Maybe you’re tired of your knees and ankles hurting. Maybe tying your shoes has become a chore. Maybe you’re exhausted all the time. Or maybe, like me, you can work out like a banshee and still wonder why your body never seems to change.
I believe there’s a healthy, athletic, thriving person inside every one of us. At some point you have to decide: Am I actually ready to become that person?
Tessa is an amazing coach because she gives you structure and accountability without trying to force you into some miserable, unrealistic diet. She keeps you focused on what good nutrition actually looks like while helping you build something that fits your real life. No obsessive calorie-counting. No trying to live forever on food you hate. You learn portions, protein, real food, flexibility and consistency.
And it works. In a month, I’m down 8.6 pounds, 3.1 percentage points of body fat, and inches all over my body — while continuing to train hard.
Most importantly, this time I don’t feel like I’m temporarily “on a diet.” I’m learning how I want to live.
Plus, Tessa is a ton of fun, has ridiculous energy, and somehow manages to keep you accountable without making the process miserable.
That’s what FitLife Nutrition has meant to me: not another diet — learning how to actually live healthy for the long haul.”- Ted
