I am officially accepting clients 🤗

I created Born to Be to support women and families who want to understand their bodies more deeply and sustain their health by building from the foundation up ⬆️

my work focuses on gut health, nervous system regulation, your unique biochemistry, preconception, childbirth, and sustaining body awareness 📌

your body is always communicating, and when you understand how your body responds, you can make more informed, grounded decisions about your health and ultimately your life 💗

this support is NOT a regurgitation of one-size-fits-all wellness 🚫

it is personalized, intentional, and explores the depth of foundational care built around your body, your season, your goals, and your lived experience 🫵

so hear me singing in the streets, NOW accepting clients 💌

do you really need the portable sauna, the psyllium husk, the detox tea or the next wellness gadget?

or are you trying to buy your way around a basic body function?

before you supplement, upgrade or outsource a foundational human process, ask yourself:
• are you sweating regularly?
• are you taking time to slow down?
• are you having consistent bowel movements?
• are you breathing into your abdomen?
• are you eating enough fiber rich foods?
• are you moving your body enough to support circulation, digestion, and elimination?

i do think a wellness tool can be helpful, but it should not become a replacement for what your body was designed to do 👏

a need and a want are not the same thing 📌

before you add more, check in on the basics. do you agree?

women DO NOT suddenly stop producing ovarian hormones after 35 🤯

that concept is misleading …

what actually happens is that: fertility can decline after 35 because egg quality can decrease over time, but the ovaries usually continue producing hormones and ovulating until menopause 👏

so if you are over 35 and thinking about pregnancy, your body is not “done.” it may just need better information, earlier evaluation, and a more strategic plan 🗒️

age matters, but it is not the whole story 👏

2 bowel movements per week is NOT normal

& for this client, constipation was only 1 part of the picture. she was also dealing with intense PMS, painful periods, irritability, nausea, dizziness, and symptoms that got worse after coming off birth control.

we DID NOT add a fiber supplement 🙃

we worked on healing her gut, supporting elimination, and helping her body function better foundationally, the way you’re BORN TO BE 💗

the result: no more constipation, a healthy pregnancy, and a healthy postpartum with successful breastfeeding

if any of this sounds like you, dig deeper!!!

this weekend i want you to consider the fact that daily routines shouldn’t feel like a sentence you’re serving …

they should feel like support, almost like momentum. like little pockets of energy that make your real life simpler, lighter, & quite frankly juicier 🙃

if your routine only works when life is perfect (when is that ever?), it’s not a routine — it’s a mirage on a hot day in the desert sun 🥵

so this is your friYAY reminder: you’re supposed to build habits that feel good. it’s encouraged to romanticize the basics. you’re actually allowed to make discipline feel delicious, instead of dreadful 😌

make the cup of tea
light the non-tox candle
take the walk
put on the playlist
breathe for a 5-minute reset

make it simple enough to keep consistent & enjoyable enough to crave to continue. routines are here to support & hold you through the day-to-day, not punish you 👏

so, what’s 1 tiny thing you’re making feel more exciting today?

being told your labs are “normal”… is almost as annoying as a slap in the face or still feel exhausted, unclear, dizzy, or your hair is still shedding more than usual 😒

queue, looking at: ferritin🩸

ferritin = your iron stores, not just whether you are anemic.

the issue: many lab ranges flag ferritin as “normal” even when it’s sitting at the very low end. and for many people, specifically women, low levels can come with very real symptoms.

questions to ask:
• is your ferritin “normal” or actually optimal for you?
• are you losing iron faster than you’re replacing it? like heavy bleeding?
• could gut issues be affecting absorption? like inflammation or low stomach acid as part of the picture?

sometimes the real question isn’t “do I need to supplement with iron?”

the better question is: “why are my iron stores low in the first place?”

if you’ve been feeling off but keep hearing “you seem normal and everything’s fine,” this might be a lab worth (re)visiting with your provider.

what was your ferritin last time you checked, and were you told it was normal?

dancing in september to no longer apologizing !!!!!!!!!!!

not because you are wrong, rather that it’s painfully obvious that YOU have spent years feeling like you’re “too much” and therefore your symptoms, that your questions are too many & inconvenient, or that your body is somehow failing you (the worst one yet, imo)…

as a reminder, you don’t need to apologize for:
• asking questions about your health
• wanting more than a rushed visit
• feeling frustrated when “normal labs” don’t match how you feel
• needing support, clarity, or a different approach
• taking up space in a conversation about your own body
• dancing in the night, to september 🎶🥸🤪

in this space, your symptoms are not an inconvenience, since their a part of your story & your concerns that derserve to be heard and addressed.

you are allowed to advocate for yourself without apologizing 👏

& if you’ve been dismissed before, i want you to know this: there is nothing “dramatic” about wanting answers 👏

that’s why i value a holistic approach — listening deeply, looking for root causes, & helping you understand what your body is trying to communicate 👏

you don’t have to say sorry here 👋
you just have to start, almost like being born🐣

do you tend to over apologize???

i believe that less is often the missing strategy in our healthcare system

we’re constantly marketed to believe we need more: more supplements, more protocols, more labs, more tracking, and more rules, but more is not always better — we see this time and time again in many areas of health.

for many people, it creates overwhelm without enough benefit or value. that’s why the goal should NOT be to do everything under the sun.

the goal should be to identify what is actually needed and focus there 📌

a client came to me taking 15 medications, and with proper supervision, they were able to reduce from 15 medications to 1 — providing them clearer understanding of what their body actually needed.

NOT by forcing less, but by getting specific, simplifying where appropriate, and supporting the right areas. any plan for your health should create clarity, not more confusion, and sometimes the most effective next step is NOT adding more.

it might be learning what to remove, what to keep, and what truly supports you 🫵

mindful that any changes to your healthcare should always be made with the guidance of a qualified provider‼️
