A Season to Remember: Under first-year head coach Tom Lipari, the Omaha Burke Baseball program took a significant step forward in 2026.

The Bulldogs finished the spring season 14–12, while the Omaha Electric summer team went 18–15–1 and captured the 2026 Tiger Invite Championship. For a program that had struggled over the previous two seasons, those accomplishments represent real progress and something everyone involved should be proud of.

But in the end, this season will not be remembered only for the final records or the tournament championship. It will be remembered for the relationships these young men built and the memories they created together.

After their season came to an end, the boys were not ready to simply pack their bags and walk away. They gathered together for a quiet moment, sharing how much they loved one another and how much the year they spent together meant to them.

They became a family. They believed in one another. They competed for each other. And they grew tremendously...both as baseball players and as young men.

Our seniors were true leaders and helped establish the foundation for what this program can become. Now, the juniors take the baton and carry that responsibility forward.

The season may be over, but the impact of this team will last far beyond the final out.

Proud of these young men. Proud of their growth. Proud to be Bulldogs.

We couldn’t be more proud of this group of young men. The Burke High, Stay Sharp Custom Apparel Reserve Baseball Team made tremendous strides this season. Their growth wasn’t measured only by wins and losses, but by the way they developed as players, teammates, and competitors. The future is incredibly bright for this talented group of Bulldogs.

A sincere thank you to our coaching staff for investing your time, energy, and passion into these players every single day. And to our families…thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and commitment throughout the season. None of this is possible without you.

We’re excited to watch these young men continue to grow and represent Burke Baseball with pride.

Legion baseball notes: Former Creighton assistant has Omaha Burke baseball believing again Former Creighton assistant Tom Lipari has Omaha Burke baseball trending upward. Elkhorn North celebrated a second no-hitter and Team Nebraska gained valuable experience at a national tournament in Omaha.

Saying goodbye is never easy.

These five young men have helped move Burke Baseball in the right direction. After their final game on their home field, they spent a few quiet moments together reflecting on the memories, friendships, challenges, and growth that defined their time here.

We couldn’t be more proud of each of you. You leave this field not only as better baseball players, but as better men. More importantly, you leave this program stronger than you found it.

Thank you for the example you set and the legacy you leave behind. Now go do the same wherever life takes you…make every team, every community, and every person around you better because you were there.

Join us Tuesday, June 30th at 8:00 PM for our final home game of the summer as the Omaha Electric Bulldogs take the field one last time at Burke this season.

We want to pack the house and show our players how much this community is behind them. Bring the kids, bring the neighbors, bring former Bulldogs, and help us create a great home-field atmosphere!
