Great tournament at Conestogas Spotlight on Girls!

Still going through pictures, but wanted to put a huge spotlight on senior Chelsey Robinson. She hit her 100th win in the semifinals today! And topped it off with a championship under the spotlight in the finals.

So proud of this girl and her future.

Strong Team Performance at the opening Friday Night Fracas in Nebraska City. Despite finishing 3rd by one match, the team showed great promise in their first competition of the season. 💪

Individual Successes:
Joshyonna Coppage-Dortch won 1st place at 100, dominated.
Jayashree Bray won 1st place at 190 with an impressive throw.
Elizabeth Juan-Lucas at 105 wrestled her little heart out back for 3rd place with impressive pins.
Dymond Green at 110 runner up against last years state champ, had strong performances.
Chelsea Robinson at 115 was a runner-up to Iowa with some impressive matches.
Destiny and Karmen at 125 and 135 earned 4th place medals.

We had some great JV matches. Have some tough girls willing to listen and learn.

The team is missing some key varsity members, but we expect them back and more as the season progresses.

And can’t not showcase Jay doing what Jay does. Even the ref gave her props on it. Take a watch! 👀
