High school girls of Nebraska, this is for you!

The Cranes are hosting a girls drop in during the Cornhusker 7s; a full day of men’s college 7s rugby, with a women’s match featured in between. It’s the perfect chance to experience the energy of the sport while trying on the field yourself.

High school girls of all experience levels are welcome. Come meet the coaches, connect with current players, throw the ball around, and ask anything you’ve ever wanted to know about rugby. Whether you’re brand new or just curious, this is a relaxed, no pressure way to step into the game. Bring a friend!

You’ll also get to meet the new women’s team from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and see what opportunities are growing right here in our state.

Think of it as a drop in, an open house, and a front row seat to the future of Nebraska rugby all in one day.

Today is a huge milestone for Cranes Rugby as Melly becomes our first ever player to sign her commitment to play at Wayne State. This moment is the result of countless hours of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Melly shows up every practice ready to learn, ready to compete, and ready to give her best to her team. She has earned this opportunity through her work ethic, her leadership, and her belief in herself and the program. We could not be more proud of her and everything she has accomplished.
