Luther High School Ice Fishing Club

We are very proud of our young men and women in the club this year! They did a great job fishing in extremely cold northern Wisconsin lake conditions, pulling the biggest crappie and biggest perch of the tournament! Big shout out to all the volunteers and parents who helped make today a great success for the Luther High School Ice fishing club! Also, a big shout out to Fat Cat Bait & Fishing Supply, Schafer's River Rentals, Vexan Fishing, and Radcliffe Custom Rods for helping provide outstanding gear for our young competitors to excel with!

We thank the Lord for blessing us with a safe and fun first year as a club! Thank you to everyone who helped support this great group of young men and women!

We had a cold yet productive day here in Chetek, WI! We ended up taking 1st place in the crappie division and tied for 1st in the Bluegill division today. We caught a lot of nice panfish and did pretty well for our first tournament as a club! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped today and to those who helped cook lunch for everyone! Now it’s onto state for this team, go Luther High School Knights!

This weekend your Luther High School Ice Fishing Club will be going to their first WIFA tournament in Chetek, WI! These students have been working hard at honing their skills to compete at this level. We are excited to travel and fish some new water!

We are getting into the heart of our ice season and some great fishing! Big shout out to all of our supporters and also to our local sponsors Vexan Fishing, Fat Cat Bait & Fishing Supply, Schafer's River Rentals, and Radcliffe Custom Rods for helping get these kids out on the ice and catching fish! Your Luther High School students will be attending our first tournament on February 1st in Chetek, WI in hopes of qualifying for the state tournament.

Our club had its first day on the ice this weekend! We are very eager to represent Luther High School this year on and off the ice!
