Holmen faced Sauk Prairie in the WIAA Sectional Final on June 13, 2026. After a scoreless match the entire evening, Holmen broke through with a goal in the closing minutes and held on defensively to secure a 1-0 victory and advance to the next rounds taking place in Milwaukee! | 6/13/26

Aquinas battled Lodi on Thursday night in a hard-fought playoff matchup that needed both overtime and a penalty shootout to determine a winner. After an intense battle from start to finish, Aquinas came out on top in the shootout, punching its ticket to the Sectional Final. | 6/11/26

After two days of competition, thousands of athletes, coaches, families, and fans gathered in La Crosse for one of Wisconsin’s biggest sporting events of the year.

Congratulations to all athletes who earned their place on the state’s biggest stage and to the teams that brought home championship trophies.

🏆 REGIONAL CHAMPIONS 🏆

The Aquinas Blugolds secured the Regional Championship with a commanding 4–0 victory over Wisconsin Heights. With the trophy in hand and the season still alive, the Blugolds now advance to the next round of the WIAA playoffs. | 6/6/26

Day 2 of the State Track & Field Championships has brought even more excitement to Veterans Memorial Field. From record breaking performances to thrilling finishes and hard fought victories, athletes have continued to put on an incredible display of talent and determination.
