One of the most refined rowboats of the 19th century, Whitehall rowboats were used to ferry goods, services, and sailors on and off the boats coming into New York Harbor.

Our Whitehall dinghy is specially built using a traditional clinker method in which the edges of hull planks overlap each other. This technique was developed in northern Europe and successfully used by the Anglo-Saxons, Frisians, and Scandinavians. Made over 600-700 hours, it is an unquestionably fine heritage piece!
