Race report from the finale of the GREAT LAKES SHOOTOUT SERIES at our home track TARCAR , what a great turnout for the finale, 133 entries!!!

Ok so Dom just had to finish the race in novice and he'd be champion, so that being said he went put and swept the whole day!! Tq and the win!! Great job kid!!

My little car was great in the morning run, car was glued and put her in the c main, unfortunately a few driver errors and mistakes cost me a transfer spot and I finished 5th.

The sclm was hot all day and I didn't have to change tires once!! Started 2nd in the b main and had the transfer spot locked up until a lap car spun in front of me with 3 to go and I got passed to lose the transfer spot. Oh well its like that some times...

Overall track was great in the morning, lost a lil grip in the afternoon but came back for the mains...

Stayed on de grooves all day long with the sclm

Stayed on blue elipses all day with the outlaw lm as well.

Overall great weekend, great series, finished 7th in sclm overall.

Huge thanks to the guys, Nick Staler, and the Vollmar boys Nick and Frank for keeping my head positive in the sclm.

📍 ROUND 2 — The Krater R/C Dirt Oval Raceway

🔥 Friday Practice — 5PM to Lights Out
💵 $10 per driver
⚠️ Please do not arrive before 4PM Friday at either track.

Doors Open: 8AM
Practice Starts: 8AM
Racing Starts: NOON

💰 Entry Fees
🟥 5 Star → $20 / $15 / $10 after
🟩 The Krater → $25 / $15 / $10 after

🔧 Both tracks will run their own class rules packages.
5 Star will run 13.5 JuStock classes on QuasiSpeeds for 13.5 Sprint, 13.5 Late Model, and Street Stock. The Krater will run 10.5 JuStock on QuasiSpeed tires for Limited Late Model & 360 Sprint and 13.5 ROAR/Open Tire Street Stock.
