Callahan Speedway Drag Strip

This is the post we were dreading. So Mother Nature wins this weekend!
We have to postpone the Burn Out Day this Sunday and reschedule it to Sunday, June 7th.
Next weekend is supposed to be beautiful, so sometimes things happen for the better.

Mark Your Calendars, We will be holding a burnout event on Sunday, May 31st at Callahan Speedway-HickenPower Drag Strip.

We will have a Stopping point. You will not be able to drag the whole length. This event is for burnouts only.

Well folks,it's official!

Does anyone race RC cars? We are going to break the Drag Strip in this Sunday for the first time with the Radio Control Cars.
Come out and watch and tell your Friends!

I just wanted to give a little update on how things are going.
We have a very aggressive Contractor and this team is making things happen.
I know the BIG question is… So when will it be ready? We are hoping End of March!
That is how fast things are moving.
I have another post about the opportunity of Reserved parking for the year, As soon as we get the parking grid done we will be back in touch!

These pictures probably won’t justify how long this new pond is but, it is a good length of the Strip. They will shape it a little more and lay sod next week! I will take better pictures next week when the sod is layed.
