🚨🚨EXTENSION ALERT!!!🚨🚨 Thanks to our friends at .skiropes we're giving collegiate teams more time to enter for the Rookie of the Year contest!!!!

Same rules apply as before, creat a reel highlighting one of your new members and why they already love collegiate skiing!!! Be sure to tag and .skiropes in your post!

We'll submit all entries to be voted on and the team with the winning rookie will now receive a BRAND NEW S-LINES SKI ROPE as well as a $50 donation towards your teams expenses!!!

The new entry deadline is now Monday, September 25th

ANNOUNCING: The Second Annual We Love College Waterski *Unofficial* Virtual Tournament!

We wanna see everyone's hard work from over the summer, so let's take some videos and compete before the season starts!

Event submissions: Post a reel of your entry, tagging in your post!

Special Event Rules:

* Slalom: take a video of your final complete pass, followed by your attempt at the next pass. Self report your speeds and rope lengths

* Trick: You have 20 seconds to do one continuous trick run

* Jump: post up to three jumps, your total air time will be scored

* Team Points: Normal team scoring with some ways to earn bonus points!

- Wearing your bib/jersey will earn your team an additional 10pts

- Sharing this post will earn your team an additional 50pts for every share (be sure to tag us so we know to count it!)

"Hello! My name is Madeline Bentzel, and I am on the Cal Poly waterski team!! I love waterskiing, you could probably say I’m obsessed! The collegiate waterskiing community is amazing! I love making friends on different teams at tournaments! I love telling people about collegiate waterski and I’ve been known to try and get everyone I know at cal poly to join our team 😂"

"Hey y’all!! I’m kaylee and I ski for Auburn in the SAC region! My favorite events are slalom and trick!! My favorite ski memory is definitely nationals at Bennett’s and fire safety. Hi name is Ari Erkmann and I am from Arlington, VA and a member of Miami University Waterski team! My favorite event is jump and my favorite colleigiete waterski memory is this past years nationals at Bennetts! The thing I am most looking forward to about being the Midwest Rep for welovecollegewaterski is getting more involved with the teams that make Team Midwest Waterski the best region I could be apart of!
