BODYBUILDERS, who are still insecure about their body and continuously tear themselves apart about how they look. The mindset part cannot be skipped if you actually want to change the way you *feel* along with the way you look. For some, this happens naturally through spending more time with and building a healthy relationship with their body through fitness. But either way, a huge part of that relationship, is what you say to your body. What you say to yourself. If your self talk does not naturally change along your journey, you are allowed to PRACTICE until it becomes natural for you.... But what do I know, I’m just a girl who’s lost well over 100lbs and am now in the best shape of my life thus far 🤷🏾♀️

Mastering the art of delayed gratification is no easy feat. But accepting the things you can’t control and making the decision to focus on what you can (*self* control) pays dividends.
One thing you can’t control: the fact that between yourself and your goal, exists the journey. Some may have advantages or roadblocks but what we all have in common is that no one is born today and is a master tomorrow. We all have to learn, grow, and expand in order to to succeed at any endeavor, to arrive at any destination, or to obtain any goal.
Get comfortable with the idea of the journey, the “process.” Your habits become your lifestyle, which in turn decide your identity. Literally only you are have the position and privilege of deciding what that will be. Only you will have the first-hand experience of your own journey. Appreciate every step.
