Traditional TANGO remains the ultimate form of the dance and people who love the Argentine TANGO gather in cities all over the world. Some modern evolution of the dance has inspired a new generation of TANGUERAS.

Some of the new music is known as ‘NUEVO TANGO’. The TANGO has found its expression in various genres of music stimulating dance events known as ALTERNATIVE TANGO. Those who would like to experience a contemporary introduction into this dance may find it more appealing to start with NUEVO or ALTERNATIVE TANGO. It is becoming more common for TANGO parties to incorporate NUEVO and ALTERNATIVE TANGO alongside traditional TANGO.
