Champions!
Regal-Hustlers retain Orlando Cup

Regal-Hustlers Legends defended their title by defeating New York Softball Cricket League (NYSCL) Legends in the final of the Orlando Cup 2025 on Sunday April 6 at the airport ground, Orlando.
Sent to bat, Regal-Hustlers Legends found scoring challenging in sunny conditions on a dusty pitch. Captain and opener, Uniss Yusuf top scored with 42 but it was the middle order that carried the score to a competitive 192 all out from their 20 overs.
NYSCL Legends removed the top order of the defending champions and were slightly ahead after 13 overs with Regal-Hustlers at 120/5. At this stage, MVP of the final, Roy Persaud and Quyaam Farooq joined forces and posted an even 50-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Persaud was run out off the last ball of the 20th over but by then the champions were confident of defending their score on the big outfield against a side that was visibly tired.
In reply, NYSCL Legends were bowled out in the final over for 159 to give Regal-Hustlers a comfortable win by 33 runs to win their second consecutive Legends title in Orlando Cup.
At the halfway stage of the run chase, NYSCL Legends were 77/4 needing 116 from 60 balls to beat Regal-Hustlers Legends for the second time this season. However, it was Regal-Hustlers Legends who extracted revenge after the defeat to the same opposition in the preliminary round to take the victory.
