Having experienced anxiety and depression, I want to say this: 

YOU don’t have to live with it. 🌟 It’s crucial to dig deep into its roots, as I discovered that these struggles significantly impacted my thyroid , gut health and hormones.

After 15+ years in therapy, I learned that true healing often comes from trial and error I didn’t blame the therapists I just kept changing them until I found the one that challenged me the most and found the deep layers behind anxiety and depression. 

Here’s what I uncovered about the emotions behind anxiety and depression:

1. Fear: Rooted in feelings of inadequacy, rejection, and childhood trauma.
2. Sadness: Linked to disappointment, loss, and a lack of support.
3. Guilt and Shame: Stem from perceived inadequacy and unmet expectations.
4. Loneliness: Arises from shame about asking for help and feeling disconnected.
5. Anger: Directed at yourself, others, or uncontrollable situations.

Other emotions like overwhelm, unworthiness, and regret can also contribute to these feelings. Anxiety and depression are just labels; true healing comes from exploring the why and finding solutions that transform your mindset, health, and hormones.

After addressing these underlying issues, my anxiety and depression began to dissipate, my thyroid nodules disappeared, and my relationships transformed. My marriage, once in shambles, felt renewed as I worked through the things I had blamed on my thyroid and mental health like society norms portrays . 

Finding the right therapist is key. Seek someone who provides tools to identify negative patterns, develop healthier coping skills, improve communication, and heal inner child wounds. You deserve to live a fulfilling and happy life. Remember, your health problems aren’t the cause; they’re often a reflection of deeper issues.
