On my 29th Birthday I've been looking back at myself through the years... 25 I see injuries from the motorcycle accident, 26 pregnancy, the natural birth of my 8lbs 11oz daughter, exclusively breastfeeding for a year and a half, 27 surgery to correct my injuries, 28 I started training with Jerrett. And now I'm here today, fully confident that my 19 year old self would be jealous of my 29 year old self. 💪
My story is different than yours, my trials, my triumphs and my journey are my own. But we all have something in common, your body is a miracle that is capable of way more than we give it credit for.

When the mind is willing, you can do anything. You will find your own way to be your best self. So make the commitment to yourself of self care, you only get one body and when you treat it right it's amazing what it can do! Just never give up on the thought that YOU CAN DO IT! Teach your children about health and nutrition, teach them about their bodies and let them know that EVERY BODY is different and that is OK. Teach them to be passionate about the things they love, and teach them that not everyone will love what they love, and that is ok too.Teach them that not everyone will agree with them, and that doesnt make them or the other person wrong. Teach them that sometimes they will be wrong, and how to deal with that. Teach them to take responsibility for their choices, let them know they can have a choice, but there will always be a consequence good or bad.Teach them compassion for others.Teach them that there are many ways to live, and teach them about all the people in the world who are wonderfully different than them. But above all, show them that you love them, show them that you are listening and do your best. The biggest thing we can teach them is to care for their BODY and broaden their MIND and hope the rest falls into place.

Today has been a more stressful day than usual. And then a woman told me that she bet my daughter loves hearing my voice, that it sounds musical and nice. This comment has made my day easier to bare. Every time I start to get overwhelmed, this unsolicited compliment pops into my head and I feel better. .

It is amazing the effect your mind can have on your physical well-being, how the smallest comment can effect someone's whole day. Keep in mind friends the effect you can have on the world and whenever you see/feel an opportunity to send positive vibes into the world, take it, you never know how much of a difference a small show of kindness can make.
