Running isn’t a one-size-fits-all sport, and it certainly isn’t reserved for one specific aesthetic or build. If you have a larger body or a powerful, muscular frame, traditional steady-state running isn’t your only option—and it might not even be the tool that serves your performance goals best.

Cardio doesn’t have to be boring.

Too many people think cardio means spending 45 minutes on the same treadmill every day. The truth is there are countless ways to improve your conditioning, burn calories, and build endurance.

The best form of cardio is often the one you’ll actually do consistently. Mix it up, challenge your body in different ways, and find activities that keep you engaged.

Whether your goal is weight loss, better health, improved athletic performance, or simply having more energy throughout the day, variety can keep your workouts fresh and your motivation high.

Move your body. Have fun. Stay consistent.

🏃‍♂️💨 Can you run before lifting weights?

One of the biggest fitness myths is that doing cardio before weights will automatically kill your gains.

The truth? It depends on your goals, body type, training experience, and how well you’re fueling your body.

If you’re naturally small, have a fast metabolism, struggle to gain weight, or your primary goal is building muscle, then it often makes sense to prioritize your weight training first while your energy levels are highest.

But if you’re overweight, carry more body mass, are training for overall fitness, participate in sports, or simply fuel and recover properly, doing cardio before lifting is not only okay—it can be a great way to improve conditioning, endurance, and athletic performance.

As an athlete, I’ve spent years combining running, sprinting, strength training, and performance work. The body is capable of adapting to both when programmed intelligently.

Remember:
✅ Train for your goals
✅ Fuel your body properly
✅ Recover adequately
✅ Don’t let fitness myths limit you

There isn’t one right way—there’s only the right way for you.
