Who's ready for some Christmas Racing??!??!! Track is hot at 6:30!!!

HO HO HO! The 5th Annual Christmas race is in the books! It was a great day with lots of fun times for all. Ely cooked up a whole pile of delicious food and every one pigged out! We can’t be any more thankful for that! It was a great get together and I hope everybody had a great time and has a great Christmas!

During the race it was something like a Christmas WAR! First came the light money with Diana taking it home with a .002 light to start off the day. After the smoke cleared only one could be the winner! Kim took first place, almost like you never took a break! Victor raced him in the final but came up a little bit short. Diana, avoiding the curse of the light money made it all the way down and took home third place! Hope everyone had a great time!

Since Orlando Speed World had a makeup race scheduled for Sunday we have decided to have another mini Christmas race on Wednesday for anyone who couldn’t make it Sunday, or anyone who just wants to race again before Christmas! Come on out! It seems like it’s only going to be mini by name, there’s already 6 people confirmed coming to race so it should be a great time! 6:30 the track will definitely be open, maybe a little earlier!

HO HO HO!!! It’s that time of year again! The time to come see your Slot Car Family and have some fun racing and pigging out on Christmas dinner. The Sunday before Christmas, Dec 20th is the day, Slot Car Drags is the place. It’s going to be a Pot Luck Dinner and of course a great day of racing. Haven’t been to the track in a while? That’s ok, Christmas is the perfect time of year to make a comeback! Can’t wait to see everyone there! Merry Christmas!

Gobble gobble! We crowned this year's turkey turkey winner. Showed up and dominated the competition to get his hands on the butterball gobbler! Chuck Eakin took home the thanksgiving turkey after a great day of racing. He was .002 dead on .0008 in the final to end Troy Staffords day. It was a fun day of racing I hope everyone has a great thanksgiving! Gobble till you wobble!

Gobble Gobble!!! Gobble till you wobble! It's that time of year again!!! Turkey Turkey Turkey race! Come show everybody that you’re the biggest Turkey in town and win the 5th annual Slot Car Drags race for the Turkey! This race is awesome every single year and it is going to be just as good this year! Bring your Thanksgiving style plate (if you want to you don’t have to) and come have some fun with your Slot Car family!! See you guys there next Sunday the 22nd!!!

For anyone interested there will be another race on Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving too, in case you can't make it Sunday.

It was a GREAT week of racing! we had a good amount of cars and a good amount of fun! It was Marc's birthday, i think he turned 25. Happy birthday Marc! I'll jump right into results!
light money was set early, everyone gunned for it but kept on seeing ol RedEye. David won it with a .0018 ! Good Job Dave
Scott Took home the W in the bracket race after he took out Chuck In the final. Chuck got second after a truly incredible day of racing; I think he was .00 more than Ive ever seen anyone in one day. But, it finally bit him when he was a little early in the final. 3Jon Had a decent day racing, I know I beat him twice by a total margin of .002 smile emoticon
Good Racing guys; see you Thursday for index racing. Tentative schedule is to run .990 1.090 and 1.190 and maybe throw in another one somewhere

We just got done index racing at SCD! It was a ton of fun, we ran 3 classes, 1.19 , 1.09 , and .99.

Up first was the 1.19 index. As it got down to 3 cars Troy had the bye to the final. Tem took out 3J in the semi. He raced Troy in the final and Troy went dead on with a .0005 to take the W.

Next out was the 1.09 class which ended with 3J vs tem in the final. Tem beat Troy in the semi this time. 3J ended up winning the class.

Finally the big dogs came out to play in the .990 index but just about the same outcome. Scott raced Tem in the quarter and Troy raced 3J while Chuck raced Dave. Advancing was 3J, Tem, and Chuck. 3J had the bye and ended up losing the final to Tem.

We had a lot of fun and we're going to try to make it weekly!

It was a great day of racing this week.

Victor showed his face and took the light with a .0000 perfect light. That's cutting it pretty close.

On to the race, Victor brought 6 cars down to the round of 16, he couldn't fight past the youngin Jonelle who took the win, Vic got second and the whole semi though.
