We are heading back this weekend to Northlake Regional Park in Umatilla to play in the CFL Main Event USSSA tournament.
Every set of games we come closer to being the ball players we want to be. Testing our resilience and fortitude of this game that seeks to take us out. Let's compete to be better athletes and better humans. The rest will come.

High school baseball is about more than just home runs and strikeouts; it’s where our kids learn discipline, teamwork, and resilience. To keep the Oakridge High School program swinging, they need your help!
Maintaining a quality baseball program—from safe equipment and field maintenance to tournament fees—requires more than just team spirit. Juan (Puchy) Velazquez brings over 18 years of professional experience to Aces Sports Academy. Former MLB Atlanta Braves and Minnesota Twins, he has worked with multiple MLB organizations, and most recently served at coach to Team PR at the 2023 WBC.
Puchy has a keen eye for talent and a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed at the highest levels of the game. His data-driven approach, combined with his extensive network in Central Florida baseball, ensures that every player receives an accurate, unbiased evaluation and a clear roadmap for development.
Puchy is passionate about helping young athletes unlock their full potential and navigate the complex world of collegiate and professional baseball.
