The USA Beach Running Championships π¦πππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈ
Cocoa Beach, Florida (May 10, 2026)
The event features distances for all abilitiesβincluding a 5K, 10K, and 15Kβall run directly on the hard-packed sand of the low tide. An out-and-back, flat course run during low tide to provide optimal hard-packed sand. Shoes are optional, and there are dedicated barefoot divisions for each distance.
The event features an energetic beachside celebration with music, food, champagne, and mimosas.
We had a nice little crew for the beach race! Who knew HCRC would dominate the barefoot division! π€©πͺπ»

It was very humid. At the end of our miles we were glistening and shining in sweat. We were greeted by a sunrise launch on our way back which never gets old. ππ₯οΈπ©΅
It was the perfect reward for an early morning workout. What we saw in the sky just after 6:00am was a spectacular βspace jellyfishβ , courtesy of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that launched from Cape Canaveral at 6:04am
This event made our walk/run even more fun. π€©

Another amazing week of training! πββοΈπββοΈβ¨
As we head into another week, remember that every mile, every early morning, and every drop of sweat is building a stronger version of yourself. Progress doesnβt happen overnight, but consistency always pays off.
Summer heat is definitely here, so please make hydration a priority before, during, and after your runs. Drink plenty of water, listen to your body, and take care of yourselves. π

Keep showing up, keep pushing forward, and most importantlyβkeep enjoying the journey.
See you all out there! ππ»

I Am Enough 5k and Fun Run for Womenβs Health πͺπ»π©΅πππ»ββοΈ
Saint Cloud, FL (May 2, 2026)
The βI Am Enough 5Kβ represented an event that went beyond physical fitness, honoring a cause deeply meaningful to women everywhere. Its roots were grounded in a powerful personal journey, and the mission behind the βI Am Enoughβ movement reflected the shared struggles many women face.
This initiative served as a call to break free from heartbreak, self-doubt, and feelings of being unseen. The 5K was not just a run, but a step toward empowerment, healing, and embracing self-worth.
The βI Am Enough 5Kβ also functioned as a movement dedicated to raising funds and continuing the mission of empowering women. The proceeds supported programs designed to uplift women facing different challenges, reminding them that even through health struggles, infertility, or unexpected life paths, they are still enough.
Each stride taken throughout the event symbolized more than physical activity; it represented strength, resilience, and self-worth. Participation in this initiative helped carry forward a powerful message of empowerment, encouraging women to recognize, embrace, and proclaim their value.
The βI Am Enough 5Kβ stood as a reminder of a transformative truth: every woman is enough.
Congratulations to Avilda Negron-Shortridge, MarΓa Romero and Melissa Pucino for participating in this amazing raceβ¦ And they all placed in our AGβs ππ»ππ»ππ»π
