HIGH BALLS — OWN YOUR BOX. 🧤⚽️
Being good at shot stopping is one thing. Dominating your box on crosses is another level.

Key coaching points for dealing with high balls:

👀 Read the flight early — judge the speed, height, direction, and point of contact.
🦵 Attack with the correct knee — protect yourself and create power based on the angle the ball is coming from.
🙌 Catch at your highest point — strong hands, arms extended, eyes on the ball.
💥 Go with decision — once you decide to come, COMMIT. No hesitation.
📢 Call “KEEPER!” — early, loud, and clear. Take control of the situation.
🦶 Land balanced on two feet whenever possible, ready for the next action.
🏰 DOMINATE THE BOX.
Good shot-stoppers are everywhere.
Goalkeepers who consistently control crosses and high balls are much harder to find.
