After my rib injury, I started paying attention to what really holds everything together — the deep core.
We’re not just talking abs or obliques here.
Your transverse abdominis, multifidus, pelvic floor, and diaphragm create the internal support system that keeps your spine and posture stable.
You don’t always have to isolate them — you can train them through movement.
When you add an element of instability — a single-leg stance, an offset load, a press on one knee — your body is forced to stabilize from the inside out.
That’s how you build real core strength: not just a flatter stomach, but better control, posture, and power. ⚡

I finally got to hug for 5 minutes after being out 5 weeks
Lighter weight. Heavier focus.
After weeks off with a rib injury, it feels good to move again — slow, steady, and rebuilding from the core out.
Push day — no supersets this time, just controlled movement to keep pressure off my ribs.
Only did about half of my usual volume, but the goal was quality over quantity.
• Incline Press — 3×8–10
• Bench Press — 3×8–10
• Single-Leg Tricep Pulldown — 3×12
• Barbell Box Squat — 3×8–10
Every set felt like progress.

I broke my rib cartilage in jiu jitsu and it’s been over a month since I’ve trained or lifted consistently.
Being forced to slow down was brutal but it taught me a lot about patience, recovery, and what it actually means to listen to your body.
I’m finally back. My mindset isn’t focused on getting back to where I was. It’s honing in on rebuilding smarter, stronger, and with more awareness than before.
I’ll be sharing my rehab and reconditioning process along the way. Because injuries suck, but they don’t have to set you back forever.
Time to get after it. OSS 🥋💪

🚫 5 Fitness Myths That Could Be Holding You Back
If you’re training consistently, eating well, and still not seeing the results you expect, you might be following advice that’s doing more harm than good.
Let’s clear the confusion 👇
1. You don’t need to train every day to make progress.

3. Soreness doesn’t equal success.
4. “Eat less, move more,” oversimplifies a complex process.
5. Lifting weights won’t make you bulky, it builds a lean, strong body.
These myths are common, but they’re often the reason people feel stuck.
If you’re a busy parent, athlete, or professional looking to regain momentum, this is for you.
