I’m not sure why I was lucky enough to be chosen by scammers but recently I’ve been battling people who run 20 -30 transactions at a time,trying random peoples credit cards through my website. They pick the cheapest item on my website and just run cards til one goes through. Then I’m guessing they use that card to buy other stuff. I had 54 transactions (luckily stopped by th card processor) in one weekend. I’ve called everyone that could be of assistance but I can’t do much because I’m not the card holder. I refund every trans that goes through and write fraud in the line. I’ve followed suggestions through my payment gateway to make these transactions get shut down from the start. Basically they see the extra steps and give up. Hopefully it will get them off my website. I wanna know why they came to me to run their stupid crime attempts. Drives meINSANE. Just venting mostly but with the added processing requirements I wanted to let everyone know if you have an issue placing the order please don’t hesitate to reach out! So with running a business there are so many crazy things that happen. Most of which I have no way of knowing how to deal with. Like this. So over the last week I have had 54 denied transactions. It looks like a scammer or group of is using my website to try and rip off ppls credit cards. Like they run this low amount and see if it works or something. I have no idea. I just know I had 5 more today for the same name. 1 went through. I have refunded the person,contacted credit card companies,website provider and even local police. This is insane. Has anyone experienced this with online business?
