That’s a wrap on The Fall Open House

Very thankful for everyone who was able to attend today and sorry if I missed talking with you.

Thanks again to Dustin Williams for being on hand all day to talk hunting, optics and for being the guest speaker for the Calling seminar. Had a great turnout for the event with some great topics and questions covered during the talk.

Parking overflowed onto the side of the highway…

Also a big thank you to all the field staffers who were able to attend- Brian Bruesewitz (BB Guns), Mark Toms, Alex Koster, Max Giselson, Eric Nott, Cody Mills.

Tomorrow is the day

Open house from 10-3 pm

Come check out the new showroom

Free drawings for a bunch of great gear, including a couple thermal’s, tripod and lots more

Field staffers will be on hand to talk hunting, gear and answer questions.

Also check out the builds from Sobo Precision and BB Guns along with several other factory built pew pews.

Excited to have Dustin Williams from Florida on hand to represent for RIX Optics. He will be giving a Coyote calling seminar/question/answer session starting at 1 pm

Door prize drawing will be held at the end of the seminar.

Free food starting at 11 with Pizza and bars from Paradise Pizza and free pop and water through out the day

The thermal market is always changing and evolving. Seems like you can’t even make up your mind on the current options on the market and boom a dozen new models are coming out from the various brands on the market.

Choosing a new optic or scanner can be overwhelming depending on how much research you do and how many brands you want to look at.

Lately it seems like the market is changing even faster with each company trying to find the edge with the latest technology and features which for the consumer is great but it can also make units become basically obsolete very quickly.

Competition drives change and improvement which has gotten the market to where it is currently. But where does it end?

I highly recommend talking with a dealer or people who run lots of different brands and optics so that you can make the best decision possible for your hunting style and application and area. Even the less expensive models are a big investment.

As fast as the market changes pre owned units can quickly lose their value. So it’s best to land on a unit that you can be happy to run for a few years or if you’re always looking to stay up on the latest technology be prepared to take a hit on moving your used units if they are much over a season old.

I love that technology is getting better but some days it can seem overwhelming. Guess I’m getting older 🤔

If you read it this far thank you and next time you are in the market for a new optic take the time and have a conversation with a reputable dealer. There is lots of solid options for places to buy from people who want to see you with the best option for you, not just what they want to move.
