Huffman Basketball is coming back to Oscoda High School for an elite 2-day skills camp focused on real improvement — not just running drills!
📅 Camp Schedule:
• 3rd–6th Grade (Boys & Girls): 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• 7th–12th Grade (Boys & Girls): 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
What You’ll Work On:
• Footwork & finishing
• Shooting mechanics & consistency
• Ball handling & rhythm
• Triple threat, decision-making & game situations
• Competitive live play
Location: Oscoda High School (3550 East River Road, Oscoda Twp, MI)

📅 WHEN & WHERE
• DATE: Saturday, February 14th
• TIME: 1:00 PM SHARP (Early arrival is highly recommended)
• SPECTATORS: Parents and fans are welcome to come and cheer!

🏆 THE COMPETITIONS
Athletes will compete within their own grade levels (separated by boys and girls) in four exciting events:
1. Hotshot Competition
2. Free Throw Competition
3. Full Court Layups
4. Dribble Weave Competition

🏅 AWARDS & RECOGNITION
• RIBBONS: Handed out to every player who places in an individual competition.
• OVERALL TROPHY: One boy and one girl from each grade level will be crowned the Overall Winner and take home the trophy!

🍕 FOOD
Stick around after the competition! Pizza will be served for the athletes at the conclusion of the events, just prior to the awards ceremony

February 8th, Update:

It was a close game to end the season in the 3rd-and-4th grade girl’s division, but the Blue team beat the White by a score of 12 to 11. The scorers for the Blue team were Leighton Smith with six points, Aleea Carpenter with four points, and Ryann Forbes with two. Scoring for the White team was Maddison Luttrell with nine points and Quinn Riddle with two.

In the third- and fourth-grade boys’ game, the White team came out on top over the Blue team, 32-28. Leading the way for the White team was Beckett Nathaniel with fifteen points, Carsen Ames with twelve, Brecken Kubik with three, and Brody Myles with two. Scoring for the Blue team was Luke Alda with fourteen, Tucker Alda with ten, and Bryce Alda with four.

The 5th and 6th-grade girls’ team ended with White over Blue by a score of 19 to 16. Leading the way for White were Katelynn Pacholka with nine points, Paige Ames with six points, and Sadie Thompson and Brilee Taylor each with two. The Blue team scorers were Eve Hollowell with ten points, Sloane McDougall with four, while Ava Patterson contributed two points.

In the fifth- and sixth-grade boys’ game, the White team beat the Blue team 29-21. Scoring points for the White team were Paxson Nathaniel with eighteen points, Carsen Ames with six points, Quaid Travis and Aiden Miller with two points each, and Liam Christian with one. Blue team scorers were Omar Ricks with fifteen points and Myles McCausey with six.

2/1/2026 Update:

In the 3rd- and 4th-grade girls' game, the Blue team defeated the White team 12-10. Scoring for the Blue team were Addy Kellstrom and Paityn Taylor, with four points each, and Leighton Smith and Avalyn Smith, with two points each. Scoring for White team were Mia Ruby and Maddie Luttrell, with four points each, and Sadie Townsend with two points.

The 3rd- and 4th-grade boys’ game ended with the Blue team defeating the White team 30-26. Scoring for Blue were Tucker Alda with thirteen, Luke Alda with nine, and Bryce Alda, Noah Redmond, Preston Hodges, and James Smith each with two points. Beckett Nathaniel led the way for the White team with fourteen points. Rett Kellstrom added ten points, and Carsen Ames chipped in two points.

During the 5th and 6th-grade girls' game, the White team won 16-6 over the Blue team. Scoring for the White team were Paige Ames with six, Lillian Larsen with four, and Katelynn Pacholka, Addy Kellstrom, and Clara Hulverson with two points each. Scoring for the Blue team were Eve Hollowell, Avery Smith, and Bridgette Alderette, each contributing two points.

The 5th and 6th-grade boys’ game ended with the White winning over Blue 33 to 24. Leading the way for Blue were Grayson Hupcik with fifteen points, Paxson Nathaniel and Jacob Beglin with six points each, Quaid Travis with three, Liam Christian had two, and Evan Inman added one. Blue scorers were Omar Ricks with fourteen, Luke Alda with six, and Myles McCausey with four.
