Another summer update! Incoming Freshmen John Duld competed in the Triple J S***t Shoot in San Antonio back in April and performed well! He claimed the Collegiate Champion title in 12,20,410, and Doubles S***t. He was also the collegiate HOA Champion with a score of a 393/400 across the 4 gauges.

Then recently he competed at the Kansas NSCA State Championship and claimed M3 for the Main Event, M1 for the Prelims, M1 for the 12 gauge event, M1 for True Pair Event, AAA3 for the 28 Gauge, AAA1 for the 410, and claimed the HOA title for 20 gauge.

Lastly, he competed at the Kansas State Youth Trap Championship and took Junior Gold 3rd place.

Another successful week/end for another incoming freshman! Evie Petersen competed in SCTP IA State and killed it on the trap line!! She finished 13 out of 110 for handicap (also helped pave the way for the 3rd place team), 8 out of 86 for doubles (also helped pave the way for the 2nd place team) and 3rd out of 218 in singles in the Ladies Varsity division. She also finished 5th in singles for League and made the All State Team.

We are so proud of the Statesmen with their continuous work! Keep it up 👍

This post is a little late but Senior Cole Henning attend the ATA Western Grand a couple weeks ago and shot well! As the dust settled, he walked away as the HOA and HAA Junior Gold Champion with an HOA score of 1067/1000 and an HAA score of 394/400. Additionally he won several events throughout the week as well! Great shooting Cole!

To continue this week’s recap of competition, Senior Wyatt Kresser shot the Illinois NSCA State Championship and walked away with the HOA Nonresident Main Event score. His score also landed him with the top score on the Main Event overall! Fantastic shooting Wyatt! More to come! Stay tuned in.

The Statesmen are at it again! Another week of competition and a lot of excellent shooting! To start off this week’s summer performances, Sophomore Karla Priebe took the Handicap and Doubles Lady 1 Champ title at the 2026 Southeast Zone Championship located in Wisconsin. Great shooting Karla!

The Statesmen are at it again. To start this week off Jakob Moesgaard competed in the Wisconsin State SCTP Bunker Championships and placed 1st. Then he competed in the Wisconsin State SCTP S***t Championships where he took 2nd place and helped his team to a 2nd place team finish. Great shooting Jakob! More updates to come on our Statesmen.
