double down night went alright! we found some speed at the end of the night. first heat i lost my handling after about 2 laps and finished 4th. started 8th for the feature & finished 4th. second heat i started 3rd, and finished 2nd. the last heat of the night i found the speed, and knew i had more to give this time, got up to 5th (i believe), and on lap 8 my right rear popped off the rim. we found some speed, learned where to give more throttle and the luck wasn’t there. back to the drawing board for next week. thank you to our sponsors and everyone who has ever touched the kart!

can am double feature tonight!

Not the race weekend we had in mind. started on pole for the heat race, dropped down to 4th, last few laps I felt something giving out in the back, right rear popped off the rim, then the tire on our buggy also gave out. fixed both of those issues and started 7th in the feature. The last few laps of the feature i felt something happening in the back of the kart and thought it was my tire again but it happened to be my chain. we finished 4th out of 9th for the feature. big thanks to everyone who laid a hand on the kart (& the kart stand 😒😂) fixing the issue and hoping to have a better outcome for next race!
