August 15th at Oswego Speedway!
Next Saturday Mr Super Stock returns with 1,750 up for grabs at Oswego Speedway . This will be the last tune up race before the famed Dave London Memorial XVIII take place next month on Classic Weekend! Gates Open at 3pm, Practice at 4pm and racing begins at 6:30pm! Last weekend was our first time out at the track this season. We had our ups and downs, learned a lot about the car and came out better for the races later this summer.
Brad, Brian, Donnie and the gang had the hot rod fast right off the trailer, picking up where we left off last season. We started pole in the heat race and won that. That though is where the bad luck kicked in. A L/F wheel bearing exploded (thanks to Brian Hallet for the bearing replacements), a fuel pump went bad and an ignition issue kept us from being able to make adjustments properly to keep up with the track changing. Between the ignition issue which made us start scratch on the field and the other issues we had, the car was just off a bit in the feature. We ended up 4th place, which is ok for how the day went but the teams effort deserved more.
Brad, Brian, Charles and Ed worked hard all day on the car, they did a heck of a job. Tom’s Performance has us some big steam again this year! RJP Motorsports Design has the car looking amazing. Pops and Pokey have the drivetrain going great and Premcom and Don Irving as the primary sponsor with the big support! We can’t do it without all these guys putting in the efforts that they do!
Also have to thank the wife and my boys for being the biggest fans of ours and God for giving us safety through it all.
It’s always great to be at the track and look forward to seeing everyone mid August at…OSWEGO.

Unfortunately circumstances didn’t allow us to be at Oswego today. The plan is to be at the mid August race as well as the DLM on Labor Day weekend! Thank you to Jody London and Oswego speedway for supporting the Super Stocks!
