Ottawa-Glandorf Run Club

Tonight we had over 65 runners/walkers enjoy the beautiful weather. We also presented a check to our second charity of the month JAR - Justice Animal Rescue. They brought 2 of their sweet doggies along. They shared with us that they have helped over 250 animals so far this year and over 3,000 since their inception in 2019.
Thanks everyone for your donations that help us be able to help them.

Here's another Findlay 5K that is sooner. Flag City for a Flag City 5K hosted by Marathon. This is a good one too!

Has anyone seen Beans? This very little fella went missing on Sunday and has not been seen since. Beans only weighs about 3 lbs. He went missing from the 900 Blk of E. Main St in Ottawa. If anyone happens to see Beans, you can comment on the post or message the shelter.

Come out and join us on Thursday nights and help support a wonderful cause each month!

I would like to say THANK YOU to the Ottawa Glandorf Run Club (OGRC) for your donation of $300 to the help support the dogs that come into the dog shelter! Thank you to the runners and walkers that donate each week! The OGRC donates to various organizations throughout their Thursday evening run season! If interested in joining the OGRC, they meet Thursdays at the Car-e-it around 7 pm and will run or walk starting at 7:30 pm.

The Putnam County Dog Shelter is always accepting monetary donations! Donations can be mailed to: Putnam County Dog Shelter, 245 E. Main St., Ottawa, OH 45875 or drop off at the dog shelter on Thursdays from Noon - 1 pm and Saturdays from 9 am - 10 am. 0

Last night we presented a check to one of our May charities, the Putnam County Dog Shelter. Dog Warden, Mike Schroth, accepted the donation and shared that the Dog Shelter is funded only by donations and the annual dog license fees. He said donations are used for vaccination, heartworm testing, flea treatment (when necessary) and providing a voucher to those who adopt to spay or neuter their new pet. Thanks to all of our runners/walkers for your donations.
