Happy World Down Syndrome Day💛💙 My yoga world expands with my amazing friends!

Today we offered tandem yoga classes at the library. One yoga class for kids/young adults and one restorative yoga class for parents. It’s our last class for a while! So glad all my yogis joined me today! 🙏🏼🧘🏻‍♀️❤️🤟🏽

Kindness was the theme for today’s yoga class…so happy to have so many yogis join me! 🙏🏼🤟🏽

Yoga for all Girl Scout Program Age Levels with our community partner, Zen Friends Yoga! It's another community partner spotlight and we are shouting out all the great programming from Zen Friends. They teach Yoga poses and benefits through storytelling, songs and fun. Yoga is taught using visual and props and participants leave with a handout of the poses they learned and a scented eye pillow. They offer petal Yoga for our Daisies, teen Yoga and everything in between. This would make a great troop activity. Today’s class was small but mighty! My heart-lifting ladies practicing yoga with me! 🧘🏻‍♀️🙏🏼

Today I was excited to offer simultaneous yoga classes: one for my Zen Friend yogis and one my husband taught, for their parents. We had a great turn out of 11 yogis and 7 parents. Looking forward to the next one in October.

Finished up our summer yoga camps this week! Bath bombs, Trail mix, Calming rocks and animal/nature Yoga! It was lots of fun!
