This is S•I•X 🖐🏼👍🏼 Hard to believe six years ago today at 5:58 PM, five days early you made your way into this world at a whopping 9 1/2 lb.


You have grown into an exceptional little gentleman the last six years. In the last year, we’ve watched you off to Kindergarten, learn to read books, and become a big brother! You are incredibly smart...you are always so thoughtful and always thinking about the people around you. You are the sweetest social butterfly. You are loving, fun, polite, cheeky, talkative (hmm), creative, and you have such a beautiful and kind heart. It’s truly an honor being your mom! We (Dad, little brother, and I) love you with all our hearts and we adore every second we share with you!! Happy birthday Bubba, we love you way beyond times infinity! @ Overland Park, Kansas

Oh my, what a difference a year makes! I never shared this picture or story, so here’s me sharing my heart in a very special memory!


Last years Pre-K graduation was one for the books! We surprised our families at the end of the ceremony when James walked across the stage and took off his cap and gown. We were all in tears of joy, everyone knew how hard we prayed for this sweet baby. Through the trials and discouraged times, we stayed obedient. God gives us hopes and dreams for certain things to happen in our lives, but He doesn't always allow us to see the exact timing of His plan. Although frustrating, not knowing the exact timing is often what keeps us focused on Him.

We all want good things to happen in our lives, but too often we want it now...not later. When it doesn't happen that way, we are tempted to ask, "When, God, when?" Most of us need to grow in the area of trusting God instead of focusing on the "when" question.

Let me tell you. Stay obedient, stay focused and don’t ever give up hope! I believe that God uses these seasons of waiting to teach us to trust in Him more.

Happy Mother’s Day! These two gave me the most precious gift, my favorite title is mom 💙💙 To all you Mommas, you are so loved!

Happy Anniversary to my dearest husband! 7 years later, we’ve been blessed with two beautiful sons and a marriage that’s stronger than ever (this I can’t emphasize more) I’m beyond happy to have you by my side! I love you, and can’t wait to see what God has planned for us next! 🤍🤍🤍
