🏐 Owensboro is set to welcome JBJ Events to the Bluegrass Fieldhouse in 2027 as the organization brings its nationally recognized youth volleyball events to the community.

The Blue Bridge Cup, scheduled for May 7–9, 2027, will feature Premier girls’ volleyball teams in the 12U through 18U age divisions. The tournament will be held at the new Bluegrass Fieldhouse in Owensboro, Kentucky, with each team guaranteed seven matches.

We’re thrilled to bring a JBJ event to Owensboro and the Bluegrass Fieldhouse for the first time,” said Jason Jones of JBJ Events. “Owensboro’s welcoming atmosphere, growing sports scene, and vibrant local community make it an incredible destination for youth sports and a great fit for the experience we strive to create for our athletes, coaches, and families. With BBQ & Barrels taking place the same weekend, visiting teams will also have the opportunity to enjoy one of Owensboro’s signature community events and experience everything the area has to offer both on and off the court.”

Nicole Blandford, Senior Sales Manager of Sports, Special Events, and Sponsorships for Oak View Group, said the partnership is another major step in establishing Owensboro as a destination for youth sports.
