This Saturday, our girls are finally back on the field, and we’re kicking off the fall season with a challenge — playing up in 14U! 💪🏼🔥

We’re excited to see how this group comes together, grows as a team, and takes on each challenge that comes their way. It’s a new season, a new opportunity, and we can’t wait to see what these girls do with it!

It’s always fun seeing our girls go head-to-head on the field—even when they’re wearing different jerseys! 😂 These girls may be competing against each other during middle school season, but they’re all part of our Chrome family. 🩵

We’re excited to welcome #23 Sadie Gerkins to the KY Chrome 2032 family! 🥎 🩵

Sadie joins us from KY Chrome 2031 and brings a ton of athleticism, versatility, and a great work ethic to our roster!

She’s a pitcher/utility player from Meade County, KY, and she’s a true multi-sport athlete, competing in softball, volleyball, and basketball. 🥎🏐🏀

We’re excited to see what Sadie brings to the field and can’t wait to watch her continue to grow and compete with this group!

We couldn’t be more excited to officially welcome Coach Jordan to our coaching staff! His experience, knowledge and passion for developing young athletes make him an incredible addition to KY Chrome 2032 and we truly believe he’s the final piece to an amazing coaching staff. 🧩👊

A little about Coach Jordan:
⭐ Indiana North/South All-Star baseball player
⚾ Played collegiate baseball
🧠 Has coached at the recreational, high school, and travel ball levels
🌱 Passionate about teaching, mentoring, and developing young athletes

Jordan and his wife, Sabrina, are a sports-loving family who have invested countless hours into youth athletics. Together, they’re raising two daughters who share that same passion—our own #11 Madi Jones and Savannah, who also plays for the 9u Chrome team. 🩵🖤🤍

💪 Coach Jordan’s commitment to teaching the game the right way, developing confident athletes, and helping players reach their full potential aligns perfectly with what Kentucky Chrome is all about. 🤩

🥎 🩵 Meet the coaching staff who will lead KY Chrome 2032 this season—

Head Coach Sarah Bullington and Assistant Coach Tabitha Cernius.

Sarah and Tabitha’s journey together began long before coaching. They grew up playing softball side by side, starting together at just 8 years old. They went on to start varsity together as middle schoolers at Daviess County High School and played competitive travel softball together until they were 16. Their lifelong friendship and shared passion for the game have come full circle as they now have the opportunity to coach together.

Tabitha brings valuable Division I playing experience after competing at Florida International University (FIU) as both a catcher and shortstop. Combined with Sarah’s years of playing and coaching experience, they share a deep knowledge of the game and a commitment to helping every player reach her potential.

More than wins and losses, their goal is to build confident young athletes, strong teammates, and even better people. They are excited to begin this season and look forward to teaching, developing, and competing alongside this incredible group of girls.

The future is bright, and we can’t wait to get to work. 🩵🖤🥎

Last but not least welcome back, #18 Maddie Kirk! 🩵🖤🥎

Maddie is an incredibly strong power hitter who is always a threat at the plate. Defensively, she has a great glove, and in the circle she’s a true competitor who embraces every challenge. Her ability to contribute in every phase of the game makes her a huge asset to our team.

What truly sets Maddie apart is the energy she brings every single day. She’s a natural leader who has a team first mindset. She’s always the first to lift up a teammate who’s feeling down, keeps everyone laughing, and helps create the positive culture every team strives to have.

We’re excited to have Maddie and her family back with us this season. 🩵
