SUPER FAST LEG STRETCH

👉🏻 for stretches
1. Forward Fold (Sanskrit/Yoga name: Uttanasana)
2. Forward Fold w/Halfway Lift (Sanskrit/Yoga name: Ardha Uttanasana)
3. Twisted Forward Fold (Sanskrit/Yoga name: Parivrtta Uttanasana) ... bend left knee & twist right then repeat other side

Tight SCHEDULES (!) & Tight MUSCLES .... often what makes stretching challenging and uncomfortable for athletes. But it’s the same tight muscles support speed, strength, and power...so take care of them and give them your time 🕐.
Two things that help? Yoga 🧘🏼♀️ and a good beat 🎶. So pick a playlist and give yourself 10 min!

League Life Tips for this week’s HAMSTRING STRETCHES
1️⃣: Half Split Pose
-PROTECT YOUR LOW BACK & SI JOINT by using blocks or hands on front shin to “bring the floor closer.”
-PROTECT YOUR HIPS & KNEES by stacking hip over knee on supporting bent leg.
-Cushion bottom knee with folded mat or use a towel/blanket. Because it feels better :)
