Team, Reminder- This SAT (16 MAY) is the first meeting for the Iron Maidens WC.
Message from on of the club coaches (Jana Call) below:
Just a reminder we are having our first meeting next Saturday! If we could get an estimate on attendance from each school, it’d be very helpful! First meeting will be themed “Connection + Safe Space.”
This club is meant to compliment, not compete, with area clubs. The girls will be able to do a little wrestling work during the meeting, but it’s more about growing and supporting female wrestling in our area.

Terrific Tuesday Spotlight!
Senior Team Captains Prashna Tamang and Riley Urquhart have been selected and awarded prestigious Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) National Scholarships, a testament to their exceptional merit and outstanding achievements.
Prashna has been awarded the highly competitive Naval ROTC Nursing Scholarship and will attend Drexel University in the fall, where she intends to continue her wrestling career with the Dragon club team.
Riley has received the Army ROTC National Scholarship and will attend the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in the fall.
These scholarships are awarded based on a rigorous selection process, emphasizing the scholar, athlete, leader model. The Navy awards approximately 300 Nursing Option scholarships annually, while the Army awards roughly 2,500 ROTC scholarships each year.
We are extremely proud of Prashna and Riley's accomplishments and look forward to their continued success in the future.
GO CHARGERS!
Win with humility, Lose with grace.
We’re the best!

Ladies, FYSA- The Iron Maidens WC out of UFM will be having their first meeting on SAT (16 MAY). As the one of the top teams in North Miss and the state, I think it would be a great idea if we supported this.

Yesterday, Senior Team Captain Greyce Brown formally committed to wrestling at Central College in Iowa by signing her letter of intent.
In a remarkably short span of two years as a wrestler, Greyce emerged as one of the top female wrestlers in the state, achieving notable placements of 2nd and 4th in state competitions over both seasons.
However, her most significant accomplishment lies in her exemplary leadership, unwavering positive attitude, diligent work ethic, and consistency, which she demonstrated as a Captain. Greyce played an instrumental role in the Oxford Lady Chargers' success this season, contributing to several tournament championships, a 3rd place finish in the MHSAA State Dual Tournament, and a 2nd place finish in the MHSAA Traditional Tournament.
As a multi-sport athlete and member of the Oxford Chargers Band, Greyce also holds the OHS record in the high-jump and is set to compete at the North Half Championships this weekend. We are exceedingly proud of Greyce, whose impact on the wrestling team will be felt for years to come.
GO CHARGERS! We’re the best!

This is where standards are set.
Wrestling is hard—and that’s why it builds champions.
No experience needed. Any body type.
No cuts, but we expect commitment for those who decide they want to participate after our tryout period. Show up, commit to the training and you’re on the team.
At Oxford High School, our boys and girls teams have been among the best in Mississippi, and we’re raising the standard every day. We push each other. We hold each other accountable. We’re a team—and a family.
This is about:
Self-Discipline
Grit
Confidence and a Warrior Mentality
That’s championship culture. If you're ready to be challenged and be part of something bigger, come join us to see for yourself what wrestling is all about.
