Life isn’t supposed to be perfect, it’s about .
Most mornings I anticipate waking up, getting in some movement and heading out. Other mornings my body & mind just aren’t ready. So instead of beating myself up, I take things extra slow!
I honor how my body & mind feel and move with it. Slowly. Part of the trick, is still getting out of bed at roughly the same time. Allowing myself to acclimate and adjust to getting ready.
☕️ I start with tea
🫨 while sitting on my vibration plate (on a gentle level to help activate my lymphatic system)
🧼 shower & 💆🏼♀️ massage face- slowly! Taking the time to massage my facial oil in to again stimulate the lymphatic system and just giving myself some love 💝

There’s a reason you feel great when you go to the beach… and there’s research behind it!
As I watched this documentary, it reminded me of the peaceful and energetic feeling I get when I’m at the beach. It’s the same one that I can remember as a child running outside barefoot!
I’ve known about grounding aka earthing for a while and have practiced here and there over the years. In the last 6 months or so I’ve been sleeping with a grounding mat and I notice subtle differences… better sleep, support in weight management, and I will say pain management seems better too.

How do you start your mornings?
Me:
- glass of room temp lemon water with celtic salt
- ten min of qi gong with
- 2-5 min core
The water is a must every morning! The movement sometimes varies and if I’m not feeling any movement, I sit on a vibration plate with my herbal tea😵💫💞☕️
My tea or coffee comes after my shower. Tea sometimes comes before since it doesn’t haven’t caffeine- allowing your body to avoid caffeine for an hour can help you hydrate and break the addiction.

Lunch on the road!
I work out of my car, so it can be very tempting and easy to stop for food. However knowing most options are 1. Costly & 2. Not healthy, I opt to pack a lunch 90% of the time.
The toughest part is I have to find foods that don’t need to be reheated, although I could probably cook it on my dashboard on sunny days 😆.
Most would think salads or sandwiches are the obly options, but salads are annoying to prepare & to eat on the go and most sandwiches won’t provide you the best nutrients to keep you fueled for the afternoon.
Today I had quinoa with cucumber, shredded coconut and portabello mushroom! Adding avocado or feta cheese would have really made this perfect 🤌 but it was definitely a nice change to some of my carb free usuals ⤵️
My go to’s are cottage cheese, yogurt, or hard boiled eggs for proteins. Then jazz it up with a healthy fats to keep me full and another tasty side.
Yogurt - I like to add coconut and chia seeds. This fills you up and keeps you regular 💩
Cottage cheese and or hard boiled eggs usually go with an avocado (I love them), and pair with kimchi, beets, cucumbers or some other veggie I don’t mind eating cold or room temp.
Eating on the road isn’t always optimal, but making the choice to do it right is.
I take the time to find a peaceful spot and enjoy my meal.

I’ll continue to post on Fridays, but you can anticipate most Fridays at Choccolocco Park at 6:30am!!
