Last night was another notable moment in the history of Mississippi Combat Sports for me.

🎤 Announced our first micro MMA fight:
Braden Veronie ⚔️ Anthony Sanz

I have also:

⚡️ Announced our first pro Muay Thai Kickboxing fight
Joshua Weems ⚔️ Ryan Wirth Bhardwaj

🤼 Coached our first high school Light Heavyweight champion*
🗡️ Jimmy Harpole 🗡️

🦓 Refereed our first intersquad meet between two Mississippi wrestling clubs
Oxford Wrestling Club vs UFM Wrestling

Behind each of those has been Grady Sue Hurley. Codie Shuffield is also responsible for getting me on the mic 🎙️ as an announcer. If you like what I bring to the table, please thank them for believing in me.

👀 I am, at best, a spectator to the combat sports atheletes who have risen to the challenge. Fortunate to be in the right place at the right time serving in some capacity to martial arts and competitors. None of those events are truly mine - they are moments I have shared with some remarkable athletes.

*Jimmy Harpole is quite possibly the only state champion to ever go undefeated & win every match by 🧷 pinfall in the same (and only) year he started wrestling. 🇺🇸 After winning a state championship he joined the United States Marine Corps
