WE DID IT! First race in the books! 🏁
We kicked off his VERY first time on the track with a lot of spinning, learning all about what counter-steering is... and by the feature, he had it figured out: counter-steering, running the line, why all that tire prep is so important and managed to make it through the WHOLE feature without a single spin.
Once the last race was over, he got over 100 laps in and learned SO MUCH with that extra seat time. That kind of progress in ONE day is what it's all about. So proud of how hard he worked, stuck with it and soaked up all the tips from the veterans out there.
Thank you so much to every single person who gave us some words of wisdom, tire tips, driver tips, words of encouragement and all the family who braved the brutal heat in the pits with us.
His top speed was 39.2 mph 🫨 his fastest lap was 14.66 - and this is just the beginning! We already can't wait for the next one! Come hang out with us on 9/5 at Pensacola Dirt Track - racing starts at 5!
