Fired up to see our athletes making huge gains this winter. Two years ago while rehabbing a severe shoulder injury, this athlete and I would have both thought this picture had to be a photoshop. Amazing things happen when you show up, push yourself beyond what is easy and comfortable, stay positive and determined, sleep 8 hours, and eat like an athlete. Refuse to be stopped!

The remarkable story of TCU's Rhodes scholar, Caylin Moore Caylin Moore likes to say his story doesn't make sense on paper, and he's right. It's a script that seems unrealistic until you realize Moore lived it and now inspires others by telling his tale.

Pain In The Back? Exercise May Help You Learn Not To Feel It There's evidence that many standard treatments for back pain — including surgery, spinal injections and painkillers — are often ineffective and can even worsen and prolong the problem.

An average fracture can heal in six weeks. Imagine what other changes the body can undergo in that period of time with sound nutrition, a solid strength and fitness program, and good sleep. You are always only six weeks away from redefining yourself.
This deadlift may or may not seem remarkable to you. It might be more impressive when you consider it was completed by a 67 year old man who weighs 140 lbs. This same man, when asked on his first visit what he typically does for strength training, pulled out a journal that chronicled his training for the past 25 years.
He also revealed that he was advised as a young adult to avoid lifting things heavier than 50 pounds due to a mild scoliosis. Oops.

Nice video discussing the correlation between golf driving distance and vertical jump. Vertical jump is one of the metrics we use at Unstoppable to measure training progress, and we routinely see athletes and adults gain 3-6" in vertical jump height over the first several months of training.
Pictured is a summary of a velocity-based training session performed with a young athlete today using Train with PUSH. We are able to track bar velocity during lifts and thus can estimate power output and provide instantaneous feedback to the athlete. Education is an integral component of our training system, and an early goal for all athletes who train with us is understanding the importance of rate of force development in maximizing power potential.

Announcing Wilson & Ellen Mears “WE Unstoppable” Scholarship Program
I am happy to announce a scholarship program in honor of my late grandparents, Wilson & Ellen Mears.
