Linda McLendon, the Executive Director of Full Circle Therapeutic Riding, is a former member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, American Hippotherapy Association, Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association, and American Riding Instructors Association. She held Level II Hunt seat certification with the American Riding Instructors Certification Program which named her its 1998 Instructor of the Year. Embracing her special children as a whole, treating their mind, body and spirit as one is the essence of Linda’s magic. She focuses on liberation rather than limitation. From traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, cerebralpalsy, mental retardation, emotional disturbances, impaired vision or hearing, learning disabilities, Down’s syndrome to spinabifida is her everyday challenge. Linda’s remarkable rapport combined with the interaction of the horse manifests the benefits in improved balance and coordination, increased strength and range of motion, improved circulation and posture, increased attention span and self-esteem, and better language skills for her kids. Full Circle Therapeutic Riding

Hello dear friends of FULL CIRCLE THERAPEUTIC RIDING. This summer has been rough on all of us, but especially on our horses! If you can help, we have a list of things we need and would love to raise $500 to continue treatment because it is working -- Here's the list: Krudzapper $27.02; Ivermectin Paste $49.99 for 12; Panacur $37.99 for 3; Self adhesive wrap (Vet wrap) $15.99 for 12; Elasticon or Elastiplast wrap $51.08 for 4 (but am trying to find a less expensive source for this item); and Probiotic Gel $24.74 for 2. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND LOVE !

Once upon a time ! What a great day years ago with Henry, his mother, Leigh, and our sweet disabled duck - so many amazing memories

Excited for Danielle and her now sister-in-law, Corinne

Congratulations Jeremy as you head off to the Air Force! I know you are excited! So very proud of you. We will be missing you a lot but look forward to following all your achievements.

[07/06/20]   UPDATE -- WEASEL has an infection and is currently on antibiotics -- the fever reducer worked right away and brought his temperature down to normal last night ----- so blessed to have found this early and got him on medication --
Please say prayers for Weasel - colic is always awful ! He and I are sleepless in Palm City -- Please uplift him and ask for his full recovery. Veterinarian just left. I added a donate button in case anyone can help with the vet bill. Thank you in advance.

Jeremy on Weasel; and Chris on Ima enjoying a good day!

The horse whisperer, Noah, and his horse, Beauty. I know she looks like she's unhappy, but that's her "happy face" and she's loving on her boy !!!

Please say prayers for a speedy recovery for Bentley !! Thank you Lord in advance !!!

Ima and Lakota - over the fence !!!

One thing about grant writing, you have to do your stats! Proud to say we provided 466 private one-on-one sessions in 2019! That has to be a record for us! And it all happened because of your support and caring hearts! Thank you to all who continue to believe in our work! We are looking forward to a time soon when we can get back to a new "normal" and see our families on a regular basis again.

[06/19/20]   TORRENTS YESTERDAY- and I hear thunder beings! Tell me it isn't so, please! Omgosh!

[06/19/20]   THANK YOU to all who support us. Just received the facebook donations made in March and they always come at just the right moment! We appreciate your caring hearts so very much!

So this happened between 1:15 and 2:00 PM yesterday!! It was dry for two whole days !!! Yikes !

Hadn't been able to mow -- can't see the snakes! LOL Normally takes 1 1/2 hours - took 3 hours to mow through the
muck, mire and downed limbs. Lots of cleanup to do today!

Chris and Grey were keeping me company in the barn!

[06/13/20]   Finally able to mow the barn pasture! It is unbelievable -- the two barrels floated all the way to the back fence and one of them flipped over. Some ground poles floated together. There are tree limbs that came down in the storms that have to be picked up! Going to be a lot of fun!!! Mosquito control messaged Palm City Farms residences - aerial spray Monday night! Hurray!

[06/13/20]   So disappointed to still be on hold for riding -- We have muck in the barn pasture - are unable to mow -- we have standing water in the east pastures - we are inundated with mosquitoes -- and are awaiting aerial spraying on Monday evening - plus not exactly comfortable with the increases in Covid cases in Martin County. Thank you for your patience.

[06/05/20]   In need of $600 to cover treating two horse's medical issues for two months - thank you in advance ! Ima and Savanah appreciate your assistance !!! This water mess isn't helping!

Mother Nature can do it if we get out of her way -- just find out where the water is going and help it go that way - this is our "river" in front of the little barn heading toward the ditch to the west of the property

Not what we had planned for this week !!! They said at least 6 inches of rain in the last 24 hours

Attempting to find something good - the change in scenery -- We had 9 spoonbills in the pasture

Guess since we are already cancelled, Mother Nature decided why not ?? Let's just flood the place

[05/09/20]   Grateful for JAMES, who has been helping me with barn work every day, and RODNEY who came and cleaned the ceiling fans to the point where they look brand spanking new!

Feeling very blessed.

My sincere apology to Chris Chris for not having done this sooner !! But why does body clipping wear you out ??? Crazy amount of hair on this pony - Chris Chris just stands like a statute, thank goodness - But we take a break !! Tomorrow we do the legs !!!

[05/08/20]   Going out to clip the hairy little creature that hangs in the pond snorkeling!
