If your body keeps waking up at night, especially around 3AM, your nervous system may still be holding stress even while you’re trying to rest.

One simple technique that can help is called the Butterfly Hug.

It can calm emotional overwhelm, reduce stress signals in the body, and help your system stop looping in alert mode.
Try this tonight for 1–2 minutes and notice what shifts.

These tiny habits may seem simple, but they help teach the body that it’s safe to come out of survival mode little by little.

But the deeper shift isn’t just learning routines.

It’s realizing:

You don’t have to earn rest by finishing everything first.
You can be a good mom without being available every second of the day.
You can run a business without constantly operating in urgency.
You can help and hold space for others without abandoning yourself.
You can say “I need a moment” without feeling guilty.
You can slow down without falling behind.
You can rest without proving you’re exhausted enough to deserve it.
You can stop treating your body like a machine that should just keep going.
