Palm Desert High School Swim Team

Beginning a new era for Aztec swimming the boys qualify and score points at CIF Championships for the first time since 2012.

Mitch Conrow became the first Aztec since Adam Shaw in 2012 to score points at CIF by placing in the top 16 for both the 50 and 100 freestyle events. Mitch also competed in the 200 Medley and 400 Free Relays.

DVL finals at Indio HS Tuesday, May 2. All 14 of the boys have qualified. Finals begin at 5:30 PM.

All 14 Aztec boy swimmers make it back to DVL finals on Tuesday.

DVL prelims today at Indio HS. Going for some individual championships and more/stronger CIF qualifying times.

Aztec boys swam many several personal bests and a few more CIF qualifying times but still came up a little short against a strong and deep La Quinta boys team losing 77-93 in the final dual meet of the year. The win clinched the DVL Championship for the La Quinta swimmers.

The 400 Free Relay dropped 7 seconds to earn a very strong CIF qualifying time (Shen, Park, Sawyer, Conrow)

Next up is the DVL league meet with prelims this Friday at Indio and finals next Tuesday.

Aztec boys will be swimming for the DVL Championship on Tuesday at La Quinta. Meet begins at 3:15.

Aztec boys continue their winning ways with another big win over Coachella Valley HS. Aztec boys are now 5-0 in DVL setting up a big showdown with La Quinta next Tuesday. The Aztec girls also swam to a big victory over the Arab girls moving their record to 4-1.

Big swims were provided by Mitch Conrow with a CIF cut in the 200 Free and Eric Shen earning another CIF cut with a 1st place in the 100 Free.
