On 9-19 Rainbow Ridge Ranch received evacuation warnings from L.A county fire that bobcat fire was close and we should prepare for evacuation. Even though our horses are perfect young ladies and gentlemen everyone knows what a chore it is just to move a large number of horses. So we did our part to get out of the way so our brave firemen can do their part their thing.

To all the generous people of Acton, Christina Marquez who shared home with 14 horses, and Jay Yarnell who shared his home with 12 horses in his arena and the nice people of the Acton Community Center that shared with 14 horses and 3 ponies. You all gave us so much encouragement and strength. It really nice to see how wonderful, people can be when they all come together. We met so many great people along the way who were willing to help. We cannot thank you enough. To many to name but I would like to mention a few. Kim Wineland, Brenda Leverton, Sandy from the community center, all of the houses surrounding the arena. And my special thanks to the young man having his lesson, you touch my heart with your offer.
