Rutherford Rams Football

Alonzo Johnson was a Panama City native, Rutherford High School Alum and a University of Florida linebacker who earned All-American honors for the Gators in the mid-80's. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 1986 NFL Draft.

We are proud to announce that his #44 will be getting retired at our first home game of the season on 8/21/2026. The location will be at Joe and Jeanette Field at Tommy Oliver Stadium.

The ceremony will be prior to kickoff. Please come early. We would like for the whole community to join us to help celebrate Lonzo, his family, friends, and former teammates during this special time.
