🏈 IT’S A BIG SATURDAY IN PARADISE! 🏈

We’re hosting lots of football this Saturday, and ALL FOUR Paradise football teams will be taking the field! 💚🖤

But that’s not all… all of our PYRA cheer squads will be in action too, bringing the energy, spirit and plenty of Panther pride to the sidelines! 📣💚🖤

So grab the family, come spend the day at the field, cheer on our kids, and make a few trips to the concession stand while you’re here. And yes… Happy’s Frozen Sips will be ready!

SATURDAY’S SCHEDULE

8:30 AM – 1/2 Grade
🏈 Era vs. Alvord

10:00 AM — 5/6 Grade
🏈 Paradise Black vs. Paradise Green

11:30 AM — 3/4 Grade
🏈 Bowie vs. Paradise

1:00 PM — 1/2 Grade
🏈 Boyd vs. Paradise

2:30 PM – 5/6 Grade
🏈 Alvord vs. Boyd

PYRA is looking for a few high school students to help us work the youth football games we’re hosting in Paradise this Saturday!

💰 Want to make a few bucks?
📚 Need some NHS/community service hours?
🏈 Want to spend your Saturday around football instead of scrolling TikTok for 8 straight hours?

THIS IS YOUR CALL!!

We’ll need help with various game-day jobs throughout the day.

⏰ Start: 7:30 AM
🏁 Finish: Around 4:00 PM

Come help PYRA keep game day running smoothly, earn a little cash, knock out some hours, and watch some youth football while you’re at it!

PYRA is now accepting nominations for our Basketball Commissioner!

- Do you love basketball? ❤️🏀
- Do you love helping kids? 🙌
- Are you organized, dependable, and possibly a little too comfortable making spreadsheets? 😂

Then you might be exactly who PYRA needs!

This is an important and busy commissioner role. The Basketball Commissioner will help organize the season, coordinate teams and coaches, manage schedules and communication, work with officials and facilities, and help make sure our basketball program runs smoothly from tip-off to the final buzzer.

Translation: This isn't a “show up on game day” kind of job. 😆 It takes time, organization, communication, and a willingness to get things done.

And just a heads-up… we're on a bit of a time crunch! ⏰ Registration and season planning will be kicking off ASAP, so we're looking for someone who is ready to jump in and get the ball rolling. 🏀

If you're interested in helping build a great basketball experience for the kids in our community, we want to hear from you!

Leone Park Weather Update

Due to the extreme heat projected for today and tomorrow, the Leone Park team has made the decision to suspend all practices and games through Tuesday. We will resume normal activities on Wednesday.

Your commissioners will work with the teams to reschedule any games that are affected.

If your team was scheduled for practice Monday or Tuesday and only had one practice scheduled for the week, I will work with you directly to make sure your team gets an opportunity to make up that practice.
