Hello Savory Cyclers,



It has been a tough decision, but we have decided to take a year off from Savory Cycle this year. As you know, SC is a fundraiser for the Broke Spoke community bike shop in Lexington, KY. The shop is going through a transitional year, cutting back in some areas while reinvigorating the volunteer base in the hopes of coming back stronger. Not entirely by coincidence, SC has also lost some of its key volunteer organizers this year. Because I’m not confident we could put on an event of the caliber you’ve come to expect, I decided taking a year off was more prudent than risking disappointment. We have a new group of volunteers that is coming together nicely, and I’m certain we’ll be in a better position to run a great event next year. Thank you all so much for the support you’ve shown Savory Cycle and Broke Spoke over the years, and we hope to see you in 2020.
