🚨TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS🚨

Congrats to the Bourbon Ballers for winning the Summer Sizzle 8U Tournament, in Stanton. The players battled back from the 4 seed to upset the one seed, and bring home the rings!

Also, congrats to the Hopewell Titans 8U team on being runners up. It was pretty special to see TWO TEAMS from Bourbon County in the finals, and both teams put on a defensive show. The future for baseball is bright in Bourbon County! Congratulations to all the BCBL players, from both teams, on their successes this weekend.

Last week, at the end of the season, we had a night where we recognized the best players from all the divisions, with an All-Star night! All 4 games were very competitive, and the players all had a great time. This was a one night exhibition, but in the future the BCBL is looking to possibly affiliate with either Little League or Cal Ripken, and our all-star teams will compete in regional tournaments. The future is bright in Bourbon County!

🏆MORE STATE CHAMPS🏆

We have our second State Champs of the day! Congrats to Coach Smoot and his Hopewell Titans team, for winning the USSSA AA State title. Proud of all the BCBL players and other local kids. The future is bright for Baseball in Bourbon County

Congrats to Coach True and the 7U Hopewell Titans, for winning the USSSA AA State Championship!

All the players are from Paris, and 90% of them played in the BCBL this season. We love seeing our players have success on the big stage!

🍦🍦Homer’s Home Run Club Winners🍦🍦

Over the entire season, we have been tracking Triples and Home Runs. A triple was worth one point and ice cream cone, a Home Run was worth two points and a milkshake, over the fence was worth 3 points, and a grand slam was worth 4 points and a heavenly cookie! It brought me great joy seeing the excitement on their faces when they received their Ice Cream/Milkshake cards, and looking for their name on the Board.

A extra big THANKS to Rodney Dotson and THE ROCK CAFE, for sponsoring the board, and providing all of the Ice Cream and Milkshakes. Without their support this wouldn’t have been possible.
