A little Wyatt appreciation post 🥰

As my lease with Wyatt comes to an end, I’ve been looking back at photos from the past year and a half and feeling so grateful for all the fun, adventures, and lessons along the way. 🩵

This horse has taught me SO much, from FEI and Grand Prix work to becoming a better partner, trusting myself, and figuring things out when they don’t go exactly as planned. We’ve had some pretty amazing adventures together, and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished!

We got to finish our time together with a great final show weekend, followed by some trail rides, relaxing, and just enjoying each other this week. And of course, I’m going to miss seeing him with his entire fan club of Habi & Trystan 😂🐴🐴🦄

Thank you for 1.5 years of memories, Wyatt. I’ll miss you, buddy! 💕 I’m excited to take everything you’ve taught me into this next chapter, especially with the help of the TDF George Williams Fund grant! 🎓✨

Today, I officially became a USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalist. 🥇🥈🥉

This achievement has been years in the making, and it’s difficult to put into words what it means to finally reach this milestone.

The road to the Gold Medal was anything but easy. It was filled with early mornings, late nights, setbacks, disappointments, moments of self-doubt, and countless hours in the saddle. There were times I questioned whether I’d ever get here, but I kept showing up. One ride, one lesson, one competition at a time.

This journey has taught me that success isn’t about perfection. It’s about resilience, patience, and trusting the process even when progress feels slow.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way. My trainers, mentors, owners, friends, family, and everyone who has believed in me through both the highs and the lows. It truly takes a village, and I wouldn’t be here without all of you.

Especially to my trainer, Sara Storch-Kay Dressage, for her unwavering guidance, knowledge, and belief in me throughout this journey. Thank you for challenging me to become a better rider every day and for helping me achieve a dream that once felt so far away.

Most of all, I’m thankful for the incredible horses who have trusted me and taught me so much. They are the true athletes, and this accomplishment belongs to them just as much as it does to me.

While earning my Gold Medal is a dream come true, it doesn’t feel like the finish line. It feels like the beginning of an exciting new chapter! This weekend was a perfect reminder of that as Habi stepped into a big show atmosphere at First Level and handled it like an absolute champion. Watching his confidence continue to grow was every bit as rewarding, and it makes me even more excited for what’s ahead. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow as a rider, trainer, and coach while helping other horse-and-rider partnerships pursue their own goals along the way.
